Well I've been drawing about 30 hours + a week. Really getting focused and in the swing of the things. I noticed art is coming a lot easier to me the more frequently I do it. I got myself in a shop, but I'm not quite apprenticing just yet. The owner's wanna make sure I'm dedicated to the trade, and I've been putting 110% into everything since they gave me this opportunity. I recently put up a finished flash sheet. Prints are available through Deviant, but I'm planning on making my own. There's a convention in Syracuse the 29th-31st of January and I'm gonna try to get 3-4 more of those sheets drawn up to sell, or even just trade with other artist's. I've been dreaming of art lately, I literally wake up and before my coffee is even finished I'm either tracing some linework or sketching something up. The idea of being able to create for a living, is simply wonderful. Despite the stress involved in putting something on a person's skin permanently, it's what I've wanted to do since I was sixteen. I feel like I'm making the steps necessary in becoming a well rounded artist, but a few things, such as realism, are still giving me loads of difficulty. I guess it all come's in time. Managing my time has been the only downfall as of late, but at the same time, being at the shop 5 days a week makes it a bit easier to see my girlfriend, because she lives about 15 minutes from there. Where as, if I was driving there 5 days a week it's about 45 minutes from my house. Well that about sums up the past few weeks. Look so see more artwork from me. Add me to your Deviant Watch and I shall do the same.
